Let's talk about werewolf films. I love the werewolf mythology as much as I do vampires and other creatures that go bump in the night. Werewolf stories have been around for centuries. There are several great werewolf films on offer. I would like to share my favorites with you. I don't want to number them because each film brings something different to the table. Let's get started.

SILVER BULLET often gets overlooked, but it is a great film starring great actors at the time. I was young when I watched this. It has stuck with me ever since. It is 1980s horror in all of its glory.

This one is a classic. The Werewolf transformation was groundbreaking at the time of its release. It still holds up to this day. If you have never watched it, then you need to.

I recently watched this one. I loved the story and how it all goes down. The budget wasn't the best, but the actors carried the film. Their performance is spectacular. I really dig it.

This one isn't that scary, but Jack Nicholson plays a great Werewolf. It also has great acting. It creeped me out when I was younger. You should give this one a go.

Trick r Treat is one of my favorite films of all time. I love everything about it. There is several things happening within this film, but it is all worth while. You need to watch this film if you haven't yet.

This one has Dee Wallace. Need I say more? The Howling is a classic and it scared me growing up. There's great acting. It's kind of old, so it may be a little dated.

Cursed is a Wes Craven film, and it's one of my favorites. I completely dig the characters, the acting, and the script. To me, Cursed is one of Wes Craven's best films.

Underworld has Kate Beckinsale. She is so hot! She's also a great actor portraying a kickass vampire who falls in love with a werewolf. It's awesome. It is dark. I completely love it.

The Wolf Man is the classic. It contains Bela Lugosi. It sets up the lore and the mythology of the werewolf. I dig it.

I liked this one because of the actors. They do a fantastic job with the classic tale. The Wolfman is dark, but it isn't that scary.

Please feel free to recommend any werewolf films that are not on this list down in the comments. I'm dying to watch some more werewolf films.
